Enabling Bluetooth On Your Mobile Phone

To successfully install and use Freeze you need to enable Bluetooth on your mobile phone. The following instructions can help you enable Bluetooth; however, these are general instructions and may not perfectly match to your mobile phone. Contact your mobile phone’s manufacturer for more information on how to enable Bluetooth on your mobile phone.

Blackberry

Perform the following steps to enable Bluetooth on your Blackberry:

  1. On the Home screen, click the Options icon.
  2. Click Bluetooth.
  3. Press the “Menu” key.
  4. Click Enable Bluetooth.

Freeze requires a passkey, or PIN code, that you must enter when pairing your mobile device with your laptop. During the Freeze installation you will be given the opportunity to establish the PIN code needed to successfully pair your mobile device with your computer.

Perform the following steps to pair a device with your Blackberry:

  1. In the Bluetooth setup application, click Search or Listen.
  2. If necessary, click a Bluetooth enabled device.
  3. If necessary, type the passkey for the Bluetooth enabled device on your BlackBerry device.
  4. If necessary, type the passkey for the Bluetooth enabled device on the Bluetooth enabled device.

Casio G’zOne Boulder

Perform the following steps to enable Bluetooth on your Boulder:

  1. Open the phone’s menu.
  2. Open SETTINGS & TOOLS.
  3. Open Bluetooth Menu.
  4. Select Turn On.

Freeze requires a passkey, or PIN code, that you must enter when pairing your mobile device with your laptop. During the Freeze installation you will be given the opportunity to establish the PIN code needed to successfully pair your mobile device with your computer.

Perform the following steps to pair a device with your Casio G’zOne Boulder:

  1. Open the phone’s menu.
  2. Open SETTINGS & TOOLS.
  3. Select Bluetooth Menu.
  4. Select Options.
  5. Select Discovery Mode.
  6. Select On.
  7. Select OK.

iPhone 3G

Perform the following steps to enable Bluetooth your iPhone 3G:

  1. Select the Settings icon to open the Settings page.
  2. On the Settings page, select the General menu option.
  3. On the General page, select the Bluetooth menu option.
  4. Slide the Bluetooth option from OFF to ON.

Note that this makes your Bluetooth device discoverable. Depending on your Bluetooth device, you may be required to perform additional steps in order to synchronize your iPhone with your Bluetooth device. Refer to your Bluetooth device documentation for further information. Freeze requires a passkey, or PIN code, that you must enter when pairing your mobile device with your laptop. During the Freeze installation you will be given the opportunity to establish the PIN code needed to successfully pair your mobile device with your computer.

LG Titanium

Perform the following steps to enable Bluetooth on your LG Titanium:

  1. From the main menu click on Settings & Tools.
  2. Select Bluetooth Menu.
  3. Select ON.

Perform the following steps to pair a device with your LG Titanium:

  1. From the main menu click on Settings & Tools.
  2. Select Bluetooth Menu.
  3. Select Options.
  4. Select Discovery Mode.
  5. Select On.
